| N. thorelii lower pitcher |
| We really do not think that one can find a more beautiful, easy-growing Nepenthes than N. thorelii. It is one of our very favorite plants. Its pitchers tend to last a long time; at times, this specimen has sported more than 35 of them, all in perfect condition! It fares best in good light, and likes warm conditions, withstanding even the 35 C conditions in our lowland house. Just be sure to keep its compost moist; failure to do so will shorten pitcher life. This plant is easily reproduced from cuttings. |
