Compost: Does
not seem picky; we have used several different composts, all featuring
30% peat moss, along with varying amounts of other substances such as charcoal,
tree fern fiber, pumice, and orchid bark. We have not attempted to
incorporate any other unusual substances into its compost.
Watering: Likes very moist conditions, but do not leave sitting in water. Cultivation Difficulty: Moderate (2); very sensitive to fluctuations in humidity and temperature. Propagation: Produces basal shoots readily; but have not yet taken cuttings. Distribution: Borneo.1 Ecology: Limestone cliffs, in pockets of vegetation; 0-500 m.1 |
