| N. campanulata lower pitcher |
| Previously thought to be extinct, N. campanulata was recently rediscoverd by Mr. Ch'ien Lee. Mr. Lee has introduced it to cultivation through modern tissue culture techniques, and it is now widely available. This species grows on the walls of cliffs, so it is likely wise to use a well-drained medium for its cultivation. The specimen shown is approximately one year old, and is now 17 cm in diameter, with pitchers 5cm in height. It is quite easy to cultivate. Pitchers are relatively ephemeral, however, and exhibit a marked decline after feeding. |
