| N. boschiana lower pitcher |
| N. boschiana is a very, very lovely species! It's quite easy to grow, requiring only the warm, well-lit, humid conditions typical of lowland to intermediate Nepenthes. The pitcher shown is a typical lower pitcher, and it gleams with many blobs of nectar secreted by numerous glands on the pitcher surface. In the wild, this is seldom seen as the nectar is typically rapidly consumed by ants and other insects. |
